Replacement levy to provide 15% of the FPS Operating Budget
200+ staff positions: teachers (smaller class sizes), nurses, counselors, librarians, paraeducators, and safety staff
Learning supports: curriculum, classroom materials, Special Education, multilingual learners, and Dual Language programs
Student opportunities: early learning, arts, music, athletics, college and career readiness, and extracurricular activities
Replacement levy to provide technology access for all students
Technology for all students: learning devices, tech support, classroom technology, digital curriculum, and online learning tools
Safety and cybersecurity: upgraded security systems, data protection, communication systems, and emergency response tools
Facility upkeep: roof and mechanical repairs, HVAC and air quality upgrades, safe water systems, lighting, athletic and community spaces, and other small capital projects

Franklin Pierce Schools serves approximately 7,000 students in the Parkland, Midland, Summit-Waller communities. FPS is the only district in all of Pierce County that exclusively serves an unincorporated area. FPS is home to a diverse community of learners, representing a breadth of experiences, perspectives, cultures and languages. The district is known for offering an array of supports for students and families beyond the classroom through collaborative relationships with community partners.
